Produced in 1982 by DANIEL LANOIS, who was also in the band at the time, this was the band’s 4th LP. Best known for theĀ hit ECHO BEACH, by the time this LP was released the band had undergone several transformations. The album is a fine amalgam of early 80s Pop, New Wave & Post-Punk. I know this description is fairly basic and actually quite meaningless, but to be more specific the album fits in well with the early 80s Pop Scene and there are some truly great touches on the LP. The arrangements as well as the production is quite inventive and very spacious. I would not be surprised if Trevor Horn took note as the sound is close to some of ZTT’s later productions. The LP is very easy and cheap to aquire and any fan of left field early 80s Pop would enjoy it.
