THE INSEKTLIFE CYCLE - "SPECTACLE OF DREAMS" (SUGARBUSH SB080), just a quick note to tell you that we have signed up this great band for their first vinyl proper long playing LP, a reissue of the previously CD-only album SECTACLE OF DREAMS in a new sleeve design. Coming from the other side of the world, This is a Psychedelic Rock group from the Philippines. Made up of members
from different metal bands, and it is interesting to see these musicians playing
something totally different, and being incredible at it. The album is an instrumental record that’s equal parts Psychedelic, Progressive,
and Hard Rock, and the interesting and inspired use of colourful guitar effects gives the album a trippy space vibe that also reminds me of German bands such as Guru Guru. This band have really gotten Psych and Prog collectors excited with the innovative and unique blens of Progressive & Psychedelic Guitar-led Instrumental Music. Shades also of Zappa, Vand Der Graaf, Davie Allen & The Arrows, Dick Dale and Black Sabbath and about a hundred more make up the influences on their truly unique sound.
